What is 5G?
5G is the next generation cellular technology, equipped with
faster and more reliable communication with low latency(less chance of getting
signals).
With 5G cellular technology, a painter artist of India can
see their artwork come to life as a robot in Korea in real time.
With 5G you can download 4K movies in seconds, 5G is 400
times faster than blink of an eye, and indeed 4G is only 40 times faster.
Advancements in VR and other 5G-ready devices
will change the game. No controller needed. And 5G wireless technology will
make it happen with virtually no lag time.
5G will help to connect remote parts of the
country and help to monitor health of people with various monitoring devices.
5G helps in making our dream of smart cities
true.
More and more IoT devices can be connected
using 5G technology.
5G is not just an upgradation in technology, it’s
the evolution on humans.
Economic Impact of 5G
5G is expected to create a cumulative economic
impact of $1 Trillion in India by 2035, according to a report by government-appointed
panel. According to GSMA that India will have 70 million 5G devices by 2025.
When 5G will be launched?
In April, South Korea and U.S. became the first countries to
commercially launch 5G services. During the first term of Modi government, the
central government has set a target of 2020 to commercially launch 5G in India.
Is 5G safe?
5G
cell towers are more dangerous than other cell towers for two main reasons. First, 5G is ultra-high
frequency and ultra-high intensity. 3G and 4G use between a 1 to 4 gigahertz frequencies.
5G uses between a 24 to 90 gigahertz frequencies.
